2025 Engel Family Field Capital campaign
During 2025, MLSD completed a $900,000 capital campaign to resurface Engel Family Field, get a new electronic scoreboard, replace the shade over the bleachers, and complete other minor updates. The Padres Foundation contributed $300,000 to be the Naming Sponsor. Construction was completed during December 2025 and January 2026, culminating with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony rededicating the field as Padres Park on January 25, 2026. The Padres design team created fantastic new branding and signage.
